Memory care search is broken for families
Most families find memory care through referral services — websites that seem helpful but earn money when you move in. The moment you submit a form, your phone number gets shared with multiple facilities simultaneously. Expect calls you didn't ask for.
Results aren't ranked by quality. They're ranked by which facilities paid the most in referral fees. You may never see the best options in your area — only the ones that can afford the biggest commission.
MemoryCareFind was built to fix this. We use the same CMS data the federal government publishes — star ratings based on staffing, inspections, and quality measures — and we never sell or share your information.
How MemoryCareFind is different
CMS-certified data
Every facility comes from the federal CMS database — the same source Medicare uses. Quality ratings reflect real staffing levels, inspections, and care measures.
No referral fees
We charge facilities a flat monthly subscription. No commissions. No per-placement fees. A facility that pays us the same amount whether 1 family or 100 families contact them.
Your info stays private
Browse and compare as many facilities as you want. Your contact information is never shared unless you choose to reach out. No sales calls, no follow-ups you didn't ask for.

How to find the right facility
Search by city or state
Go to the search page and enter a city, or browse by state. Every facility in your area appears — not just the ones that paid to be promoted.
Compare CMS ratings
Each facility shows its federal quality rating (1–5 stars), certified bed count, and address. Filter by rating to find the best-reviewed options near you.
Contact facilities directly
Reach out to facilities you're interested in from their profile page. Your message goes straight to the facility — nobody else sees it.
Visit and ask the right questions
Read our guide on "How to Choose a Memory Care Facility" for the questions to ask on tours, what to look for in staffing ratios, and how to evaluate care programs.
Common questions
Is this really free?
Yes. Searching, comparing, and contacting facilities is completely free for families. Facility owners pay a subscription to manage their listing — that's how we cover costs without charging families or taking referral fees.
How accurate is the facility information?
All facility data comes from CMS — the federal agency that certifies and rates nursing homes and memory care facilities. Star ratings are based on staffing levels, health inspections, and quality measures. Facility owners can add contact information and photos once they claim their listing.
What if a facility I'm interested in hasn't claimed their listing?
Unclaimed facilities still show their full CMS data — address, rating, and bed count. You can look up their phone number directly from the listing.
Does MemoryCareFind have all facilities in my state?
MemoryCareFind lists every facility in the CMS database — over 14,000 across all 50 states. If a facility is CMS-certified, it's in our directory.
